Setups
Creating your setup
MultiViewer allows you to position windows in whichever way you like. Just open the streams you want to watch, drag them around, resize them, and when you're happy, open the main window again. At the top of the stream list, the "Save setup" button is now enabled. Give your setup a name, or if you had setups before, you can update an existing setup if you want to.
Next time, you can just press "Open setup" to re-open the same setup, and MultiViewer will open all the streams you had open and restore their position and settings as they were.
Editing your setup file manually
You can optionally edit your setup file by hand. It's a JSON file and it has an accompanying JSON schema to validate it. Next to the "Open setup" button, there's a button to reveal this file. MultiViewer will validate this file before it opens any layout, so make sure it is valid. You can use VS Code or other editor with support for JSON schema to validate your edits and get hover descriptions. We don't offer support for this way of creating setup.
